Data intake and scope alignment
We pull transaction data from your PSPs covering the last 90 days, including decline codes and funnel telemetry. We align on markets, BINs and products in scope, and agree success metrics at the outset.

Live test transactions across the top 20 issuer banks in each target market, across multiple operating systems and browsers, mobile wallets and local methods. The goal is to surface silent failures before they cost revenue.

Issuer-level decline code classification. We separate hard declines from retriable soft declines and quantify the volume that is being rejected by your 3DS and fraud systems but could be safely approved.

Challenge
Approval rate had been flat at around 82 percent for six quarters despite two PSP migrations. Finance suspected significant recoverable volume but the operations team did not have the bandwidth to prove it.
Approach
Three-week diagnostic covering 90 days of routing logs, live testing across 18 issuers in UAE and Saudi Arabia, an issuer-level decline taxonomy, and a checkout review benchmarked against regional leaders.
Outcome
Identified approximately 4.1 million US dollars of annualized recoverable revenue across three root causes: mis-routed soft declines, a 3DS challenge issue on one issuer, and a missing local wallet that accounted for 11 percent of cart abandonment.
